Hermitage Museum (5/5)

Hermitage Museum is a must-see for visitors to the area, and this one is located in St. Petersburg. The museum itself is a beautiful work of art, with its captivating architecture and design. The galleries are filled with strategically placed sculptures that become a part of the art which is the entire building. For example, a hidden face sculpture in between two panels of the wall; eye-catching, gold sconces shining from above; brilliant lighting, illuminating the opulent ceiling; and graceful steps, leading up to more marvelous masterpieces, complete with a red carpet to greet visitors’ arrival. Attractive, subdued hues of the Jordan Gallery showcase marble statues that accentuate the mysticism of the magnificent museum. This is a wonderful, visually appealing experience, with over 30 different rooms to explore, and notable artists and art forms to entertain.

The Multimedia Art Museum is open from 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM daily, and is closed on Mondays. Palace Square, 2, Saint-Petersburg
