Chairman of The Lakes Distillery, Nigel Mills said: “We have worked hard to create a range of stylish baubles presented in sumptuous and sophisticated packaging. There is a drop of Christmas encapsulated in each of the baubles – they’re not only beautiful decorations but perfect presents for anyone who loves The Lakes Distillery’s spirits.”

Resplendent with spirits expertly distilled in the British Isles, these are truly perfect for decorating the tree, but also ideal as a luxury gift or treat for all tastes. The baubles have been designed specifically to be put up on the Christmas tree, copying the traditional bauble shape. The smaller, 5cl baubles are presented in packs of six, each pack representing one of the three iconic Lakes Distillery spirits.

According to the distillery: “Our team is steeped with experience and we aim to produce a collection of world class spirits. For a start our founder, Paul Currie, who co-founded the widely acclaimed, award winning Arran distillery, is a man who has grown up in and amongst the distilling industry.”

“Our production is overseen by one of Scotland’s foremost whisky experts, Alan Rutherford, former production director at Diageo and council member of the Scotch Whisky Association. Chris Anderson was hired in our early period as our master distiller, who crossed the border from Scotland, with a lifetime’s experience of making the highest quality whisky, including as manager of a number of well-known distilleries.”

Available for purchase are three different packages. Firstly, the ONE Christmas baubles 6 pack comes with golden baubles that are rich with notes of honey-roasted nuts, spice, and hints of dried fruits and wood smoke, perfect with a drop of water to release the aromas.

We are extremely proud to have partnered and developed this concept with one of the UK’s leading gift businesses, Lanchester Gifts, which is a division of Lanchester Wines.

“Partnering with a team as passionate about quality as the Lakes Distillery has enabled us to have delivered a premium product to the market for this Christmas. We used our expertise and gifting sector knowledge to develop this new format for the Lakes Distillery to present its luxury spirits over the festive period. We are also excited to be working with them on an all year round gifting offer which will launch in February 2018.”, said Ruth Peyton at Lanchester Gifts.

The baubles will be available from late September 2017 in retail outlets across the UK and The Lakes website.
