Slated to take place November 11, 2017, in Geneva, Switzerland, Only Watch is an exclusive charity event that takes place every two years. From Patek Philippe to Audemars Piguet to Breguet and dozens in between, the participants’ list reads like a Who’s Who of the luxury watch world with the best fine timepiece brands taking part. The best part, however, is that each donation to the Only Watch auction is a unique piece. This is a rare opportunity for haute horology enthusiasts to not only pick up a one-of-a-kind timepiece from a leading watchmaker but also to make a sizable contribution to charity.
The cause at the center of the Only Watch event is the research for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Since its inception in 2005, Only Watch has raised an incredible 25 million Euros, which in turn has funded several scientific and medical research programs.
Under the patronage of Serene Highness Albert II of Monaco and, for the first time, conducted by Christie’s, Only Watch 2017 is one of the most talked about events on this year’s luxury watch social calendar. To build up even more excitement for the event, the Only Watch pieces will be going on a world tour with stops in Monaco (27-30 September), Bangkok (2-3 October), Singapore (5-6 October), Dubai (9-11 October), Hong Kong (23-24 October), Tapei (26-27 October), New York (29-30 October), and Los Angeles (1-2 November) before finally descending upon Geneva.
While there are 50 unique timepieces up for auction this year, we have selected twenty of our favorites for you to browse through. Feast your eyes on these unique high-end watches made exclusively for Only Watch 2017.
