Aleza Freeman
An award-winning writer and editor, Aleza Freeman has been covering Las Vegas since long before she was old enough to drink (legally). Born and raised in Sin City, she witnessed the evolution of this once small town into a world-class culinary and entertainment destination firsthand. During a brief stint as an editor and reporter in San Francisco, Aleza had the opportunity to travel on assignment to Israel and Argentina. Back in Vegas, she satisfied her adrenaline junkie tendencies by rappelling Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, and riding all the thrill rides in Las Vegas with a Go-Pro pointed at her face. Other career highlights include interviews with iconic celebrities like Hugh Hefner, Weird Al Yankovic and Carlos Santana. She's also been honored to interview liquor industry innovators like Dalmore’s legendary master distiller, Richard "The Nose" Paterson, The Last Drop founder James Espey and Golden Decanters’ founders Julia Hall Mackenzie-Gillanders and Ann Medlock. Aleza has followed her career in many directions including design, management and director roles, but her true passion is writing. Her words have appeared on billboards and signage up and down the Las Vegas Strip and in publications worldwide.
